Mr Chesser is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Trauma Society, Orthopaedic Trauma Association (International Member) and British Hip Society. He sits on the board of the Osteosynthesis Trauma Care Committee (OTC UK) and the Trauma Orthopaedic Research Collaborative (TORC). He is the clinical lead for the South West for Hip Fractures, Falls and Fragility Fractures and was recently appointed on the NICE Hip Fracture Guideline Development Group. He has recently been appointed onto the British Orthopaedic Association’s trauma committee and as a scientific advisor to the British Trauma Society.
Mr Chesser has taught many a specalist surgeon over many years. He is editor of "Injury" one of the profession's most respected journals
